RED SIMON wins Allesverloren as a new Partner Winery
RED SIMON, the specialist for South African premium wines, is happy to announce its new partner winery: the renowned estate Allesverloren. The long-standing estate Allesverloren can look back on a turbulent history. As early as 1696, the brave widow Cloete founded the wine farm when she arrived at the inhospitable Swartland region as one of the first settlers. The name Allesverloren signifies the looting and pillage of the farm in 1704. The impressive slopes of the grand Kasteelberg Mountain offer ideal conditions for cultivating heavy, robust red wines for which Allesverloren receives awards on a national as well as an international level. The unique terroirs make for strong, healthy vines and grapes that are turned into wonderful vividly coloured, powerful wines. Its fruit-dominated character excites wine lovers worldwide. The estate is mainly famous for its Vin de Constance. Awarded with 5 Stars by John Platter and 95 Parker Points, it is considered to be the best South African dessert wine of all time. RED SIMON, the specialist for premium wines from South Africa, proudly includes Warwick as a new partner winery to the range and thus extends its portfolio with excellent Cape Blends of international standing. RED SIMON carries one of the most comprehensive Warwick wine assortments in the whole of Europe. The Warwick Estate is located on the foothills of the Simonsberg in the middle of the famous wine region Stellenbosch. In 1964, it was newly created on historic grounds by Stan and Norma Ratcliffe and mainly Norma led the winery to the top of the South African wine elite with passion and skills.
