Hermanuspietersfontein is well-known for exceptionally good Sauvignon Blanc and other grape varieties of a high quality. The farm of Hermanuspietersfontein is located in the wine cultivation region of Sondagskloof. The winery is situated there in a valley between the hilly area around Stanford and the Atlantic Ocean. On an area of 320 hectares, various noble grapes grow here under almost perfect conditions. Sufficient rain, warm sunlight as well as the cool Atlantic breeze make for a unique microclimate which plays an important role for the development of the wines’ own character.
